The Lurifaks Sweater

Finally, the sweater pattern I’ve been so excited to share with you has been posted on Ravelry. The Lurifaks sweater has been a lot of work to design. Lots of trial and error to get the pattern just right.

As in all of my designs I let myself be inspired by the nature surrounding me. Mr. Fox frequently comes to visit, and is to me a beautiful creature. He/she was on my mind when I first started to draft this pattern.

In Norwegian the word «Lurifaks» is often assosiated with the fox and means something like, and forgive me if my English is wrong on this, a trickster, someone smart and maybe a little sneeky. I use it as a term of endearment for the fox. A cute and clever little creature.

I really hope you’ll like the pattern as much as I do, and have fun choosing different colors to use. My group of test knitters did an amazing job with this, and if you need some color inspiration find it in my story highlights on Instagram. 🦊
